FourInLine
The origins of FourInLine are unclear. According to legend, Captain Cook on his three voyages
played FourInLine so often that his crew called the game "The Captain's Mistress".
It is played on an 8x8 board and players alternate in placing a stone of their color on an empty
square. At the beginning of the game, only the bottom-most row can be played in. After that, a player
may choose to either place a piece on the bottom row or one row above another piece in the same column.
In other words, the pieces "fall down" along a column.
The winner is the first player to get an unbroken row of four stones horizontally,
vertically, or diagonally.
